"Morning in Venice" Painting from my travels in Italy
This is a 100% original and hand-painted piece, inspired by my studies abroad in 2024.

The Story Behind the Painting:

This city could be completely underwater within the next 100 years! Venice is over 1600 years old and has been slowing sinking ever since it was built.

Visiting Venice was such a unique experience since the only way to get around this city is by foot or by boat. It gave me an entirely different perspective than the cities I drove around. It’s much calmer and quieter (despite crowds) and is filled with narrow streets and bridges.

This painting has multiple layers of oil, finished with oil pastel for the smallest details.
